Plans & Billing

Plans and Billing

Skrypt offers two tiers: Free and Pro. The free tier gives you everything you need to generate, test, and deploy documentation for one project. Pro removes limits and unlocks advanced features.

Testing, auditing, CI checks, and QA are free on both tiers. Skrypt's verification engine has zero LLM cost, so it runs without limits.

Free tier

The free tier includes:

  • 1 project with up to 50 documentation pages
  • 2 connected repositories
  • 1 AI generation pipeline cycle per month (generate + test + heal)
  • 3 deploys per day
  • Basic page view analytics
  • Unlimited skrypt test, skrypt audit, skrypt ci, skrypt qa, and skrypt lint runs

No credit card required. Sign up at app.skrypt.sh.

Pro tier

Pro costs $199 per month and includes:

  • 10 projects with up to 500 pages each
  • Unlimited connected repositories
  • Unlimited AI generation pipeline cycles
  • 100 deploys per day
  • Advanced analytics with bot traffic, search queries, MCP traffic, and feedback
  • Custom domains on your docs sites
  • Custom branding (remove Skrypt badge)
  • Team members with role-based access
  • The skrypt heal command for self-healing documentation
  • Priority support

Billing

Pro is currently billed via manual invoice at $199/mo. To upgrade, contact the Skrypt team at skrypt.sh. There is no self-serve checkout yet.

After activation, your billing page shows the plan status and renewal date.

Checking your plan

Go to Dashboard > Billing to see:

  • Your current plan (Free or Pro)
  • Subscription status and renewal date (Pro only)
  • Current usage meters

Usage meters

The billing page shows three live usage meters:

MeterFree limitPro limit
Projects110
Generations this month1Unlimited
Deploys today3100

Each meter shows a progress bar. When you hit a limit on the free tier, the action is blocked and the dashboard shows an upgrade prompt.

Enforcement

Plan limits are enforced server-side. The system checks your profile, verifies an active subscription exists (for Pro), and counts your current resource usage before allowing the action. If you downgrade or your subscription lapses, limits revert to the free tier.

What's next

  • Getting Started, create your first project on the free tier
  • Teams, invite collaborators on the Pro plan
  • Analytics, explore the full analytics suite available on Pro
  • API Keys, authenticate the CLI and API
